Theses
Students interested in a thesis are welcome to email me to arrange a meeting. Proposals usually involve software development and call for a genuine interest in writing code. Theses in collaboration with companies are also possible.
Research
My research is in databases and the Web, with a focus on extracting and integrating data from Web sources: automatic wrapper inference, large-scale data extraction and entity linkage. Projects I have worked on include Araneus, RoadRunner, Flint, WEIR and ALF.
